I am a Frontend Developer with over 6 years of programming experience. I am adept at writing web-based as well as mobile-based solutions ranging from personal blogs and websites to E-Finance Solutions. In 2014, as an SS 3 (senior secondary school) student preparing for the West African Examination Council (WAEC), the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) & the National Examination Council (NECO) examinations, I picked up an interest in Computer Science after watching his first ever Google I/O live stream, ultimately deciding to study Computer Science as the first choice degree in university. Fast forward to 2018, I was elected as my Faculty's Director of Software, incharge of maintaining hardware, software as well as networking assets of the faculty. As the Software Director, I successfully set in motion the agenda to have a vibrant environment on campus where students can learn, individually and collectively, practice and be exposed to technology as a tool that can be used to render services and solve problems around campus and the world at large. I am proud to have successfully planned, hosted & invested (time & resources) in a number of tutorials and exposure events on campus and also to be one of the founding members of my Alma Mater's largest developer's circle, FUTMINNA DEV CIRCLE. Subsequent to the end of my tenure as Faculty Software Director, I was appointed as the National Association of Computer Science Students (NACOSS) Software Director for the State of Niger where the mission continued with the help of partnerships from the National Association of ICT Students (NAICTS), Data Science Nigeria, VoguePay, amongst others, to host events, seminars and workshops related to data science and its impact, present and future, in Nigeria. While in the University, I worked on a number of projects including, but not limited to; the faculty's website, an online registry and payment platform for association members, and an all-female developer's club. As a developer in Nigeria, I became very passionate about building accessible and inclusive solutions so that everyone in need can have access and be in a position to use those solutions with negligible issues in user experience.
